What does it mean, actually, “to seek out gold and sit on it” (74)?
Can you please show how it connects to the theme of the whole book and how it relates to grendels life

The above quote can mean a few different things, but in my opinion, the dragon is advising Grendel to be happy with his accomplishments and rest... to not allow greed and a desire for validation to encompass his life. In essence, the dragon is telling him that all quests must have an ending.
