How did this story affect your feelings about Grendel? Explain.

I love the character of Grendel, although not many people do. He is untaught and uncivilized; he is ostracized..... and he reacts to all of these things the only way he knows how..... to fight against them. Does he randomly kill innocent people..... yes, he does. But this novel, unlike others, uncovers a different perspective..... and I like it.
