Why does Magwitch hate Compeyson so much?

Even though Compeyson was younger than Magwitch, he was smarter. He was also a fraud and thief. He needed someone to help him with his crimes. He hired Magwitch. He didn't pay him very well, and Magwitch was always in debt with him, so he couldn't leave, even though he hated it. Then after they scammed Miss Havisham, they got caught. Compeyson was a gentleman, well educated and had a clean record. Magwitch was rough, common and had been in trouble with the police several times. So Magwitch's punishment was much larger than compeysons, even though compeyson was responsible for the larger amount of crime. Compeyson was always taking advantage of Magwitch.
