Why did Miss Havisham leave money to Matthew?

I think Mathew is the only one of Miss. Havisham's relatives that is not greedy. Matthew Pocket has charge of nine children, two nurses, and a pretty but useless wife. He also tutors young gentlemen, including Pip.
