Pip clearly feels guilty about not visiting Joe. What does he do to “relieve” this guilt and what do these actions show us about Pip’s priorities (what he values most).

We are on different chapters here but Pip clearly spends more than he has and lives the life of a London Playboy to relieve or at least distract him from his guilt. Pip does what a lot of people do when they don't want to face something, he runs away. Pip's values are a little messed up right now but I think he knows the truth. Pip just needs to mature enough to face it.
