Pip's lives in a working class home. Joe has a trade, he is successful, and he wishes to pass his knowledge and business down to his beloved Pip. Pip, however, gets a taste of nicer things when he begins his visitswith Ms. Havisham and falls for Estella. Thus, he bigins his journey to making himself worthy of her.
