In Chapter 44, Pip visits Satis House to confront Miss Havisham and to profess his love for Estella. What reasons did Miss Havisham have for misleading Pip into believing she was his benefactor?

Miss Havisham never really said she was his benefactor rather remained neutral knowing Pip believed this. Initially she tells Pip that she never meant to play the "nice old lady". Miss Havisham never gives Pip a clear reason for her manipulation but we can surmise it has something to do with her past (long past) dealings with men and her shattered lonely life.
