Given the way Dickens portrays Estella, what do you think attracts Pip to her?

His attraction to Estella has never waivered from the first time he met her. Part of the attraction here is that he uncovers her mysterious past - her adoption by Miss Havisham and her rather low class birth parents. He might very well think he could "save" her from her parents Molly and Provis; Jaggers tries as hard as possible to keep Estella mysterious and as a lawyer would, reveals as little as possible.
