In Chapter Four, we learns that Firoozeh's family initially planned to only live in the United States for two years. As a result, they took advantage of all the things they couldn't do at home...... going to amusement parks, enjoying junk food, and visiting Disneyland multiple times. Firoozeh's father believed that Walt Disney was a genius. As a result, he arranged for six Iranian colleagues and their families to meet his family at Disneyland. Firoozeh, however, was bored by the thought of it. Kazem focused the groups' attention on the long lines of visitors waiting patiently, noting that in Iran the people would be fighting. Firoozeh, however, got lost and ended up in the kid's lost and found. When Kazem finally found her, he purchased every toy and souvenir she wanted.
