why bobbie injured?

Bobby injured his knee in a pre-season game against Amarillo. His foot got stuck in the artificial turf, and another player fell on him during a play. The injury was life changing, as Bobby was never again able to play at the same level he'd attained. Surgery allowed him to play, but his dreams were over.
