What ruined Joe Bob Bizzel's football career? How did he handle this loss?

Joe Bob Bizzel was also another great Permian player and was considered the golden boy of the golden boys. He started in a game against Texas A&M and had two interceptions. He also started in a Cotton Bowl loss to Nebraska and had 9 tackles and intercepted a pass. Soon after he was caught for having a marijuana pipe and was kicked off the team. He came back to the team in 1975 but soon got arrested again for public intoxication and was expelled from the school. He tried to come back one more time but the new coach didn’t want him.
