why might the reader infure gwen is judgmental?

" the fair gwen grabs freak and puts him in the wagon and i swear, she almostrun as if something really bad is going to happen."

I really didn't see Gwen as judgmental. She may have quickly judged Max but she apologises later. I think everybody makes quick judgments.
