Frankenstein

What does the novel say about how and what we learn from our environment?

Thank you!

Certainly our environment shapes us. Consider, for example, if the cottage people had befriended the creature. Perhaps they could have let him in, sing songs with him and celebrate Christmas. The creature might have felt differently about the world and perhaps even Victor. Instead he was attacked: this only added to his animosity towards the world and Victor.
