What are Victor Frankenstein's passions?

Victor was passionate about biochemestry and physiology. He mixed these with the world of metaphysics to create his creature. Initially Victor had something of a God-complex. He wanted to create life. His temperment is very intense and obsessive. He cannot rest from his insessant ruminations about the mysteries of life and his creation. He is very much the cause of his own undoing.
