Who was Catiline, and how did Aaron Burr deserve Hamilton’s accusation that Burr was the Catiline of America?

Catiline was a man.... he was also a Roman senator and a conspirator in the 1st Century to overthrow the Roman Republic.

Was Burr deserving of the title? Do you have a few hours? I guess in "short answer" mode, I'll have to say yes. Burr was in fact a part of a secessionist plot; he was brilliant, but he did work against the government.
