How did John Adams view Alexander Hamilton?

The rift between these to did not really manifest until Adams became president. Hamilton felt that Adams owed him things for helping him (Adams) become president. Hamilton and his friends within the administration obstructed things Adams was trying to accomplish. Adams was naturally angry and saw Hamilton as traitorous.
