It would have been better if Robert Jorden had killed Pablo before his act of stealing the fuse dotenaters.give your opinion either for or against it.

Possibly, you have to believe that if Robert had killed Pablo things might have ended differently, but that was not the author's intent, and Robert himself defended his sympathy toward Pablo in this way;

"You do not know how he was before; but you do know that he is going bad fast and without hiding it."

Robert says this in Chapter One after having just met the man. He doesn't excuse him, he's suspicious...... but I think he also believes that there's a chance.
