what happened between charlie and alice when alice went to charlie`s apartment? why do ways think that his happened now and not before ?

I'm not sure where you are in the novel, but if this question relates to Progress Report 17 like the other, I would say that Charlie and Alice had a fight, and Alice cried. I don't believe they ever fought before this point.
