By April, how has Charlie changed intellectually?

In Progress Report Nine, we learn that Charlie's intellectual growth in rising. He's learned how to master the dough mixer at work, he hasn't figured out how practical jokes work exactly, but he has figured out that others don't like being on the receiving end of those types of jokes. Charlie is also mastering his grammar, absorbing grammatical rules, and using them properly.
