First Confession

Grandmother forced him to eat a dinner he did not want. Jackie hides under the dinner table fending off Nora with a butter knife. Father beats Jackie and barely talks to him. Mother is mad at Nora for telling father.

Father gave me a flaking; Mother interfered, and for days after that he didn't speak to me and Mother barely spoke to Nora. And all because of that old woman ! God knows, I was heart-scalded.
