Fifty Shades Darker Irony

Fifty Shades Darker Irony

Anastasia's sarcasm

When Christian asks what Ana can offer him, she has ice cream, but only vanilla like their relationships. And here is a funny moment, when Christian asks where it is. Logically, "it should be in the freezer", but Ana ironically says that "it is in the oven", hinting at Christian's excellent logic.

Side effect

Ana often visits her gynecologist. Dr. Green says that if she takes the necessary precautions, Anastasia will not become pregnant. Quite frankly, "the side effects of a child are far-reaching and go on for years". Ah! It is Dr. Green's irony that scared Ana, but then she realizes that children are just a big responsibility.

Seems to be an adult

Ana is mad at Christian: his stalking knows no bounds. And it dawns on her that this is how he knows about the e-mail being monitored at SIP. He probably knows more things about Ana. Why does he have this need to keep her safe? As Ana says she "is a grown-up – sort of – for heaven's sake". However, it is ironic, because Ana claims that she is independent although she doubts.
