Troy is fenced off from his wife because of his infidelity. He is fenced off from his son because of his anger.... Cory is afraid of Troy, and he also challenges his father about his treatment of Uncle Gabe. Troy stops himself just as he's about to hit Cory with a baseball bat and tells him to leave. Cory says to tell Rose he’ll be back for his things and Troy tells him, “They’ll be on the other side of that fence.”
