how does Rose Maxson see herself as an individual?

im doing a presentation for enlgish where i need to compare Rose from fences to pauline from the bluest eye, and i need a good quote on how rose sees herself, not troy, but herself.

Rose sees herself as a wife and mother..... for her, family comes before all else. In her character we see a loyal, supportive woman. She is a nuturer to both her son and husband. Rose is kind, patient, and thoughtful.
