What question does Montag ask Mildred?

I looked part 3 over again and could not find anything that he asks Mildred. Montag gets home and realizes Mildred has given him up. Mildred runs out of the house clutching a suitcase, climes into a taxi and leaves. I know in part two Montag asks Mildred if the White Clown loves her. This alludes to the superficial entertainment Mildred likes while Montag rediscovers himself in books.
