Fahrenheit 451

The opening of the novel Fahrenheit 451 states,“It was a pleasure to burn.” how has that quotes meaning changed when it’s used at the end of the novel?

Explain what that quote means in relation to the beginning of the novel and at the end.

The pleasure to burn turns into a cleansing of society when the city is bombed to the ground. Now society can begin again without the diseased ideology of the past state.
