1) He compares the scene at his house to a carnival. Everyone was turning on their lights to catch the entertainment.

2) Mildred regretted losing the walls. She felt as if she'd lost her family.

3) Mildred turned in the alarms. She felt it was her duty; I'll assume that she also considered what would happen to herself as Montag's wife. Self preservation.....
