Clarisse has lived a completely non conformist life with her family. They do not conform to society and "think" about such things as natural wonders. Clarisse is a questioner in contrast to Montag who has no real feelings about anything. Until he meets Clarisse Montage just goes along with whatever society puts forth. He is a fireman because it is something that he does not think about.
