Fahrenheit 451

What are the main conflicts in the novel? Are they resolved by the end of the book? If so, how? If not, why not?

The main conflict in the novel "Fahrenheit 451" is between man and society. Guy Montag has a revelation after meeting is teenage neighbor Clarisse. He realizes that he is not happy and that his job, burning books, contributes to the vapid and meaningless society he lives in. I the end, civilization is destroyed which means thete is hope to build a society that is based on meaning and books.
