What did Bradbury's world lose when it lost its books? Elicit ideas from the class. Can these things be found only in books of paper and ink?
Bring attention to Faber's argument that the televisions and radios could provide the same "porous" content (to use his metaphor) that books had. Why do the visual media in this world fail to produce work of value?
