in my opinion one of the best movies ever, this russian-english talks with the grandfather are great, much more funny than the book, the historical story is not in the movie, and elijah wood dis an amazing job

I saw the movie too! I think the camera shoots are great and also the colours and so on, BUT in my opinion the movie is not as detailed as the book! You should read the book afterwords, so that you can understand the backgrounds!
But it helped my a lot to watch the movie, because the beginning of the book was very confusing and weird

Loved the movie; laughs abound! Yup, does help to watch before reading the book...unlike most movies that you should see after the book. It's hilarious, and so is the book.
