what does mama think about Dee and her accomplishments?

Mama is pleased with the way Dee took advantage of the education and possibilities for advancement she was afforded by the community. She is, however, disgusted by the way she has turned her back on her family..... the way that she is ashamed of her home, mother, and sister.
