6. What is it that Dee makes sure to get in every picture? Why is this the case?

The on thing she makes sure to get in every picture is the house. I believe she wants the novelty of saying, "This is where I came from," when she shows them off.

She makes sure the house she was raised in is in the picture. As she fights with herself over her desire to be/not be a part of her raising/heritage, the house certainly represents where she has come from. It could show both where she has been and what she is trying to escape from.
