What is the striker camp like ?

The Striker Camp is a place of dissent and frustration. The strikers throw stones at the arriving workers and taunt them, frightening the workers, although they are protected by guards. Those working also have a fear of losing their jobs, as new workers continually arrive.... accepting less pay. Soon immigration workers arrive, and many, like Esperanza, are frightened of being returned to Mexico.
