How does Esperanza's behavior towards others affect them?

Meaning like what is Esperanza's effect on others? How does she behave/ talk with them? How does she put herself out there in front of others?

Esperanza's behavior most frequently affects other people in the beginning of the novel. She hurts Miguel's feeling when she makes him aware that their class differences will not allow them to be together, she embarrasses her mother when she refuses to allow the little girl to touch her doll, and she immediately alienates Marta without having to do a thing.
