esperanza rising

I think Esperanza learns how fortunate she is. Isabel teaches Esperanza how to take care of the babies and do chores. Esperanza in in awe of how hard Isabel works. Carmen is of much lower class and must work hard to survive. Carmen and Isabel do not complain about their circumstances.
