Despite the devastating consequences that can result from illegally crossing , many mother take the risk. What are the drawback that affect both the mother and children

The biggest drawback in leaving a child behind would be the feeling of guilt..... the separation of family.... leaving a part of yourself behind.

For the child, I'd have to say abandonment would be at the forefront..... feeling unloved, abandoned, unimportant.
