Ender's Game

Is Enders Game really about war? What is Orson Scott Cards purpose in writing it? What else could it be about, and why?

Whats the reason for the book to be written?

I believe the author's purpose in writing this novel was to expose what could happen if the government took over all roles in society. Example..... who can have children and how many; pulling children from the home and raising them; putting children in danger without their knowledge. Look at the world of video games today, and think about the realism in all aspects of play.... could you be fooled into taking part in something that was actually real? Hmmmm, just food for thought.
