In chapter 11 does dragon army get a break?give at least 3 examples

I'm not sure what you mean by "getting a break". Ender gives his toons general directions, but he lets the toon leaders direct their own soldiers. This lets his soldiers take personal ownership of the battle as well as react much quicker that other teams.
