Honestly, I don't know if we can say he was unselfish or selfish. Ender certainly sacrifices a lot for Graf and the world. He forgoes his innocence and boyhood. Ender, however, wasn't really given a choice in this matter. The narrative really doesn't deal with Ender's personality in this way.
