How surprised were you to learn what actually happened to bonzo? How much more surprised were you to learn about stilson? Why did they keep this knowledge from ender?

I think they keep these fatalities hidden from Ender because they need Ender to focus on his skills: they need Ender to beat the Buggers. They do not want emotional instabilities from their best weapon.
