The difference prejudices they face stem from being in a "fishbowl" like setting of competition. Most eyes are on Ender as he is socially, emotionally, and physically tested by other youths. Ender attempts to avoid arguments but quickly learns when to defend himself and what statements his violence makes. So, for example when Ender Kills Bonzo, Ender makes a statement about his resilience, self discipline, and his lethal abilities when pushed.
