Ender feels Peter would be proud of him because his victory over the Giant. Explain.

Ender's victory over the giant only occurs because he is willing to kill the giant... he has the choice of dying (in the game) or killing, and in this case, Ender chooses to kill and move on. This act reminds Ender of his brother, who always chooses power and control no matter the cost, and Ender knows that his brother would be proud of his choice.
