Do you believe ender is a hero?

To claim that Ender is a hero or not a hero would mean I'd have to judge actions that he wasn't really responsible for. Ender would be considered a hero because it was his command and strategies that led to victory, but he doesn't see it that way. Can you consider someone who is not apprised that a game is the real thing a hero? Would Ender have made the same decision (to obliterate the Buggers' home planet) had he known what he was doing?
