Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

What is the significance of Utterson, Jekyll and Hyde names?

Hyde’s name is significant because he is both a character man and Dr. Jekyll's other half (the one that's hiding).

Jekyll- in French his name means Je (I) kyll (kill).

Utterson- I'm not sure about this one..... I'll try to find something for you!

Jekyll- becasue Je in french is I and kyll is like kill. So it's I kill.

Hyde- for obvious reasons he is trying to hide the fact he is Jekyll and try to hide himself as well

Utterson- to not utter something is not to say anything and during this novel he does not speak to the police anything of the connection from Hyde to Jekyll
