What character strikes you as a good characteristic to develop within yourself over the years?

I think Jekyll's desire to search for knowledge is a good characteristic to have.  Knowledge can be power.  However, the way in which one uses the power one has can be very hurtful to the people around you and to yourself.  You have to have the "good sense" to know when to stick with what you are doing and to walk away when necessary.
