Mr. Poole, Dr. Jeckyll's butler is probably my favorite of the minor characters. He witnesses so many unspoken and questionable things as a servant in the house, but he keeps them to himself out of loyalty. After 20 years of employment, Poole finally realizes that things have gotten just a little to shaky and convinced that something has happened to his master goes to Mr. Utterson for help.
