what reason does Faustus give for not repenting?

Faustus is obsessed with gaining knowledge and power: he is willing to go to Hell to get it. Faustus is also naive and is easily manipulated by Mephistophilis who promises a world of power and knowledge. Faustus has fun using his "gifts" for silly practical jokes and "fun".
