Within the pastoral magic of the forest runs elements of the supernatural. Fairies, demigods, magic and love all seem to meld together without actually becoming one. There are two dimensions that affect each other. THere is magic in love, magic in poetry and even magic in the morning dew. Each character views the magic of the forest differently. While Bottom is aware of the wondrous magic, the young lovers seem oblivious to it.
