Rick calls on her to help him retire the Nexus-6 androids and Rachael sleeps with Rick in order to illicit empathy for her so that he will not be able to retire the androids. It is really Rick's relationship with Rachel that compells him to keep bounty hunting. Rick finds Rachel attractive but at the same time rejects her as "cold" with an upleasant manner. For her part Rachel seems only to want to help Rick because it also benefits the Rosen Association. Their relationship is, however, full of complexities that layer their attaction for each other.
