She wants join Dauntless. In chapter 16 Tris reveals that she got Abnegation on her aptitude test and that she chose Dauntless.

Being part of Abnegation for Tris is very hard because she feels out of place. Tris considers herself selfish and brave and these personal qualities plus her desire for changing her quiet and boring life are the trigger for switching factions.
